Since this is a manufacturing solution created just for the BMW Tyre Pressure Sensor, the torque accuracy needs to be adjusted after installation to meet the system. Use a VDA-certified electronic torque wrench (1.2–1.5N·m range) to tighten in three steps: first, pre-tighten with 0.5N·m to close the gap; then, tighten with 1.2N·m to make sure it seals; and finally, turn the wrench 15° in the opposite direction to relieve the metal stress. If you have changed wheel hubs, you must follow the BMW-approved process for replacing the tire pressure sensor. This means using the ISTA/D diagnostic system to do "TPMS Reset + CAN Bus Binding" and measuring the valve hole tolerance three times with a Mitutoyo micrometer. If the sensor sleep current is too high (>3 . 5μa),

The fluororubber seal on the BMW Tire Pressure Sensor can handle temperatures as low as -40°C and as high as 125°C when the brakes are hot. However, the sensor base needs to be cleaned with 3M™ Citrus Cleaner neutral solvent every three months if it is exposed to calcium chloride de-icing agent (concentration >5%) বা অ্যাসিডিক গাড়ি ধোয়া তরল (পিএইচ<4) for a long time.
